Major independent power producer (IPP), Scatec ASA, uses Prediktor PowerView, TGS' asset management software, to control and monitor over 3 GWp of renewable energy capacity worldwide, including solar, wind and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

With Prediktor PowerView™, Scatec ASA's GOC is empowered to unlock the full potential of its renewable energy assets. By ensuring data quality, enabling performance optimization and delivering actionable insights, TGS is a proud partner supporting Scatec's journey towards leading the charge in renewable energy across the globe.

Rapid Issue Resolution: Through real-time centralized monitoring, the GOC can identify high-severity issues rapidly and communicate them to the maintenance teams at the site, so issues are resolved immediately, enabling continuous peak production and assets’ health is preserved.
Data Quality Monitoring: To ensure reporting and analysis remain valuable and relevant, the data collected from the sites must be as high-quality as possible. The GOC continuously works to enhance the quality of data collected from their sites by monitoring data quality KPIs and alerting sites about issues such as disconnected or misaligned sensors.
Reporting & Data Sharing: The GOC oversees core reporting processes, ensuring alignment within the organization and transparency for stakeholders. Leveraging access to data and analytics skills streamlines and professionalizes these functions.
Production Analysis & Optimization: The GOC conducts regular reviews of all plants in the portfolio by leveraging real-time monitoring of asset health and production. This approach helps identify trends and address production-impacting issues, such as soiling while recommending improvement initiatives for site teams.
Short-term Forecasting: With the increasing need for accurate day-ahead and intra-day production forecasts, the GOC plays a critical role in optimizing these projections.
